Our History

Over the past 27 years & through the vision of President, Gregory A. Parr, Frontier has grown from a two-employee carpenter contracting company into an aggressive, full-service, commercial general contracting & design/build firm in the Chicago area. Throughout that time, Frontier has maintained self-performing abilities, which allows for better quality & budget control and provides clients with additional options for project delivery.

Frontier believes in building relationships through trust & value. Through our Cornerstone Process, we consult with our clients on material specifications, price scenarios, material availability, alternative methods of construction and environmental concerns. Frontier provides a full range of services including: pre-construction consultations, value & design-engineering, conceptual budgeting, meticulous project management, site supervision, permit expedition, logistics planning, quality assurance and self-performing abilities.

Frontier will continue to achieve excellence and sustainable growth through experience & continuous education. The Frontier management philosophy endorses open communication, embraces technology and continuous industry education that incorporates the newest management and construction techniques.  Through the team of construction experts & The Cornerstone Process, Frontier will continuously provide clients with better project deliveries and add value to the above and beyond what is expected.
