A Message from the President

Since 2009, we’ve been through a pretty wild journey in the construction industry. Navigating a general contracting firm through some of the worst economic times in my 30+ year professional construction career has been one of the most difficult challenges to overcome. But we’ve not only maintained the course, we enhanced and grew.
We continue to work diligently to make Frontier Construction into a name that is synonymous with a superior client experience. We constantly evaluate our systems, processes, procedures and technology to provide our clients with the best possible outcomes. We’ve made improvements across the entire business over the past year. Some of which are:
- 4 managerial hires and promotions
- 3 Cornerstone Award recipients
- Latest Android tablets and smartphones deployed throughout company
- Customized Canvas Mobile App for daily project reporting
- Client Portal upgrades for improved communication and transparency
- Online Plan Room upgrades for improved bid solicitation functionality
There is a constant need in the construction industry to adopt new ways of thinking, provide more predictable project outcomes and deliver projects more efficiently. The construction industry phrases of “within-budget”, “on-time scheduling”, “safety” and “high-quality” are essential, but do not accurately reflect the true value Frontier can provide its clients.
They are now replaced by “reliable project planning”, “predictable project outcomes”, “minimize wastes” and “value-add through every project activity”. Each of these new phrases and their separate procedures/processes all focus on reliability, efficiency and predictability. They improve how we deliver projects to our clients in 2014 and beyond.
I am eager to continue my deepest business passions which are concisely stated in Frontier’s core values. We take these core values to heart and are reminded of them daily:

2. Take personal responsibility for building long-term relationships
3. Be respectful, candid, open and decisive

We work to continuously provide our clients with an experience that is above and beyond what is expected. We strive to build trust with our clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers and recognize that no relationship or project can be successful without it. We are “building tomorrow’s communities”.
