Healthcare Construction 'Best Practices in Occupied Facilities' Training

Sixteen field representatives of Frontier Construction recently completed the Healthcare Construction Best Practices in Occupied Facilities Training at the Carpenters Training Center in Elk Grove, IL. The 24-hour training focuses on construction best practices associates with renovations and new construction to existing hospitals and healthcare facilities.

An extensive emphasis is placed on:

· Construction barrier technologies
· Dust containment
· Chemicals, materials and molds that may be present in healthcare facilities
· Proper practices, guidelines and procedures related to the safety of hospital staff, general public
   and construction staff within healthcare facilities
· Problems that arise from high-moisture content on finished floors

Every guideline and safeguard is considered and every proactive measure is applied to ensure the safety of the hospital staff & administration, general public, construction service providers and most importantly the patients.
